Tsumiki

A Desk Lamp Designed for Versatile and Creative Use By reconstructing the typical components of a table lamp - the shade, the stem, and the base - we designed a new way of lighting. The shade attaches to the stem with magnets, allowing it to slide up and down and rotate 360 degrees to suit your needs. With a built-in battery housed inside the steel pipe stem, the lamp can also be detached from the base and used as a portable light. "Tsumiki" is the Japanese word for building blocks. Just as you can freely assemble blocks and play with your imagination, we hope this lamp encourages you to explore different ways to use it in your daily life. The combination of a battery embedded in the steel pipe stem and a magnetically attached shade enables a variety of flexible uses tailored to the user. Additionally, the detachable shade, stem, and base allow for playful customization, much like assembling building blocks. Whether you need to focus on work or unwind in a relaxing atmosphere, this lamp effortlessly adapts to your mood and setting, transforming to fit your needs at any moment.
